John Dietrich is inspired by the visual splendor of "beautiful young women, industrial urban decay, churchyards, sexy motor bikes and cars, lovely hotels, movies, rock and pop stars." He enjoys creating an implicitly sexy narrative in his photographs, images with the suggestion of previous and future erotic occurrences.

Editor of Skin Two magazine Tim Woodward describes John Dietrich's work as "Fetish-Glamour." Dietrich's new book, which is more dark, explicit, voyeuristic and taboo than his previous collections, is scheduled for an autumn release.
